project:

Laid Back Diesels

When Daxton and Kanon came to me, they didn’t have a website at all
— just a logo, an Instagram, and a YouTube channel.

(cue my immediate excitement)

They wanted a professional online presence that showcased their long list of diesel services in a way that felt engaging and approachable (laid back⋆˙⟡), not like a dry checklist.

Their existing logo featured a dark navy, so I built a complementary palette of smoky grays, deep charcoals, and a pop of yellow — bold, masculine, and energetic without being overwhelming.

Although the site is packed with information,

it’s designed to feel effortless to explore.

One of the highlights of this project was using LBD’s own photos rather than stock imagery. Daxton and Kanon shared a file full of their work, and I carefully selected and edited each image to integrate seamlessly into the design.

The result is a site that feels authentic, dynamic, and fun to scroll through —

full of real trucks, real people,

and real results.

Cruise through the LBD site
